Firm Risk Management (FRM) supports Morgan Stanley to achieve its business goals by partnering with business units across the Firm to realize efficient risk-adjusted returns, acting as a strategic advisor to the Board and protecting the Firm from exposure to losses as a result of credit, market, liquidity, operational, model and other risks.The role will reside within the Firm Risk Management, Central Function’s Cross-Risk Projects Management Group. The Cross-Risk Projects Management Group has the responsibility to lead the delivery of key regulatory-focused and strategic initiatives/projects, with a particular focus on projects that span across risk stripes (Market Risk, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk and Model Risk), multiple divisions within the Firm and various regulatory jurisdictions.FRM is committed to creating and providing opportunities that enable our workforce to reflect diverse backgrounds and views.What you’ll do:Project manage the delivery of key regulatory and risk management projects, to ensure appropriate and timely closure of remediation plansExecution of risk projects, including developing project plans, driving delivery and highlighting relevant risks and issuesSenior stakeholder management and project reporting in governance committeesDocumentation of business requirements in partnership with clients as appropriateCreating concise and effective presentations for senior management on project updates and regulator-ready materialsWhat you’ll have:Bachelor’s degree or equivalentExperience in project managing and delivering strategic or regulatory projectsMinimum 3-4 years of experience at leading financial institutionsExperience of interpreting regulatory guidelines and experience relating to the regulatory environment (preferred)The ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, both written and verballyAn interest in working in a fast-paced environment, often balancing multiple high priority deliverablesConfidence to take ideas forward and to challenge others, where appropriate, with experience in management by influence, facilitating and gaining consensusStrong attention to detail and ability to provide information in usable formats (proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word)The ability to work independently in a self-directed way in a collaborative, team-oriented environment#LI-EG1#LI-hybrid #BPREPWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
