With seeds, plant varieties, crop protection and digital solutions, we help farmers produce food efficiently, protect the land and meet society’s needs.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTThe candidate will join the Regulatory Management Italy Team, responding to the Country Regulatory Affairs & PGA Manager, and will support with the following responsibilities:

• The candidate will support the other corporate functions with respect to registration and legislation topics and will ensure the correctness and completeness of office archives and company’s databases, information and data.
• She/he will grant that registration processes are properly carried out and managed correctly in respect of the legislative deadlines.
• In close collaboration with the relevant country and regional departments, she/he will ensure the creation of the product draft label.
• She/he will prepare the registration dossiers in compliance with the current national and European legislation and the respective timelines.
• Following the professional code of conduct of FAO for plant protection products and BASF’s compliance guidelines, she/he will participate in technical regulatory committees or ad hoc working groups.
• In agreement with the Country Regulatory Affairs Manager, she/he will maintain relations with experts in the relative administrative bodies and, if needed, with the country associations in regards to the regulatory aspects.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• The ideal candidate is a Master’s or PhD graduate in Agricultural,Biological, Food Technologies or similar Sciences, preferably with experience in regulatory topics.
• An excellent abilty to maintain and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as leadership, proactivity and assertiveness skills are considered essential for this role.
• An excellent knowledge of Italian and English are required.
