The primary responsibility of this role is to support the development of research projects and to provide proactive confidential, high level, efficient and effective research administrative support to the British Heart Foundation (BHF) Chair, Professor Bernard Keavney.
Your remit will include supporting Professor Keavney’s work in his capacities as:
- British Heart Foundation Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at The University of Manchester
- Leader of a laboratory research group in the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences
- External national and international roles including grant funding panels, journal reviewing, and advisory board activities.
The postholder will be assigned to the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences, currently located in the Core Technology Facility and A V Hill Building on the Main University Campus.
