This is a 3-month Research Assistant job for the CCER in the STaCS Department is to support with the growth and development of the centre, as well as contribute to ongoing research initiatives with different CCER members. The Research Assistant will join an international, cross-disciplinary team of academic and non-academic researchers working on a variety of themes, including social justice, community engagement, humanitarian and social crises, social work, therapeutic and counselling practice-based research, religion and other identities, public policy, and youth engagement.

The candidate will assist the day-to-day administrative and intellectual running of different research activities in the centre, including administration of project funds; communication with community partners; teamwork with members of the Department; networking with relevant community groups; planning, organising, and running events; support research development and delivery; attend and contribute to research meetings and forums. They will also contribute to the development of the Annual Report for CCER. 

  • The post holder will be required to undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required.
