At the Faculty of Engineering and Science, Department of Chemistry and Bioscience, a position as Research Assistant in Aalborg University is open for appointment from 15 January 2025 or soon hereafter. The position is available for a period of 11.5 months.JobbeskrivelseThe position is funded by the VILLUM P2X Accelerator Program(VPX) in Denmark, a program aimed at bridging the gap between academic research and commercial success. VPX provides extensive support in both scientific and entrepreneurial domains, helping transform P2X concepts from university research into thriving startups or industry applications.We are searching for a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our team, a forefront spin-out specializing in ultrapure water production for offshore green hydrogen. The focus of this position is to improve the heat management within electrolyzer systems vital to our water production technology.The work will include:

• Designing and building a desalination system.
• Investigating heat management and heat exchange systems.
• Exploring the integration of electrolyzers into desalination systems.

The required level of qualifications is at master level.Appointment to Research Assistant may be for a period of up to three years. Reappointment may be made, but a Research Assistant can only be appointed to Research Assistant for a period of maximum three years.
