Offer Description

We are seeking to recruit, as soon as possible, a motivated research assistant to participate in the early stages of a research project that aims at understanding the neuronal mechanisms underlying changes in behavioral states during a decision-making task in mice. Approaches will combine in vivo 2-photon imaging with mice behavior in virtual reality.
Initially, the work of the research assistant will consist of coordinating the imaging pipeline with the behavioral one.

    The project is developed at the Timone Neuroscience Institute in Marseille (France). The successful candidate will receive a fixed-term contract of 6 months, possibly renewable. The position may attract applicants who wish to gain a strong research experience before pursuing with PhD studies.
