We seek to appoint a Research Associate to collaborate with the broader Material Passports Working Group to deliver interdisciplinary knowledge exchange events, foster future research projects and bid-applications and promote the outcomes of the Accelerating Material Re-Use in Construction (AMRUC)  project funded by AHRC. The main aim of this project is to promote the dissemination of the policy paper that provides clear recommendations to accelerate material re-use in construction and promote Orms Material Passport’s design tool. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about material reuse in architecture, understand the current challenges of the construction industry and engage with different key academic, practice and industry partners in this field, nationally and internationally.

You will have an architectural background and will be encouraged to consider their own career development. You will be provided with a flexible working pattern in order to facilitate other commitments.

This appointment is on a fractional 0.2fte basis for 40 weeks  starting  September 2023.

We welcome applications from all diversity groups.
