This post is part-time, 7 hours per week and fixed term until 31 March 2026. The salary stated above is the pro-rata amount, the full time salary would be £39,236 – £44,617 per annum (Incl. LWA).
This is a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded research project, to evaluate the effectiveness of technological interventions to prevent suicide in public spaces.
The post-holder will have experience of applying health economic methods and frameworks to conduct health economics evaluation (for example, decision analytic or Markov modelling). They will have experience of undertaking various types of economic analysis, including the application of quantitative models, and designing or contributing towards the development of health economic analysis plans (HEAPs). The post-holder will have a track record of disseminating quantitative research and be able to demonstrate a high-level of analytical capability.
The post-holder will work alongside members of the economic evaluation workstream to conduct a health economic evaluation of suicide surveillance technology at various UK sites. They will be responsible for designing and testing appropriate models, contributing towards analysis plans, and conducting statistical analysis. They will regularly communicate their findings and results with the wider project team and its stakeholders. They will also contribute to the wider project including the systematic review, data collection and preparation, stakeholder workshops and publication of results.
