Creating a research culture where everyone can thrive and excel underpins the delivery of this work. The Research Culture Manager will play a significant role in supporting significant culture change across the university, working closely with colleagues in the faculties and in other central professional services teams to embed a collaborative, diverse, inclusive, supportive, and high-performing culture. This is a new post which will take ownership of strategic projects and insight, supporting and leading change across the university.
The Research Culture Manager is a new role, who will lead the development and delivery of Queen Mary’s first cross-university research culture strategy and action plan. This is a role which offers exceptional potential for creativity, innovation and the development of best practice, with an opportunity to make an impact at an institutional level.

The role is offered as a two-year fixed term contract or as a secondment for internal candidates. It is a full-time role however we welcome applications for flexible working, reduced FTE or job share. The team is currently working in a hybrid pattern, and candidates should expect to be on campus at least three days per week.
The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £41,386 – £48,414 per annum (pro-rata), inclusive of London Allowance.
