This post is offered on a full-time indefinite basis; applicants interested in a part-time or job share basis will be considered.

You must have an excellent understanding of the current UK research funding landscape and of research development with extensive experience supporting academic colleagues in their pursuit of research funding. You will ensure there is appropriate support for research across the Faculties which includes supporting University and faculty research strategies, development of high quality proposals and wider development events and workshops.

You will be a creative and strategic manager with an aptitude for problem solving and a high level of organisational and management skills, with experience of supporting, motivating and developing teams and ensuring workloads are prioritised and managed.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate complex ideas to a wide range of people.
