Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Engineer to join our AI research team, with a focus on information retrieval and generative AI models. This role is integral to designing and building intelligent systems that power retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and multimodal AI experiences.

You will work alongside researchers, engineers, and scientists to create scalable, high-performance solutions using large-scale datasets and state-of-the-art machine learning techniques. A particular emphasis will be placed on scenarios involving multimodal inputs, requiring the system to understand and process more than just text.

Key Responsibilities

-Design, implement, and optimize information retrieval models to support RAG systems.
-Improve LLM reasoning capabilities and minimize hallucinations to enhance the user experience.
-Conduct research in advanced NLP, machine learning, and information retrieval techniques.
-Develop scalable algorithms for both real-time and batch data processing.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RAG technologies into production-ready applications.
-Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to inform model development.
-Benchmark model performance using internal metrics and public datasets.
-Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, NLP, and IR.
