Share this vacancyAbout the departmentThe Bio/MicroSystems Centre is a joint effort between the University of Twente and TNO, the Dutch organisation for applied science and technology. The research initiative launched in 2024 to drive internationally distinctive research in scalable bio/microtechnology solutions. Rooted in the strengths of the Twente region and industry needs, our mission is to accelerate the development of enabling technologies and advance Organ-on-Chip applications for drug development and toxicity testing. The Bio/MicroSystems Centre brings together interdisciplinary competences from biology and microsystems manufacturing to push the boundaries of innovation contributing to a healthier, safer world. Your direct employer for this fulltime researcher position is University of Twente, Faculty of Science & Technology. You will be embedded in the group Applied Stem Cell Technologies (AST).About the organisationThe Faculty of Science & Technology (Technische Natuurwetenschappen, TNW) engages some 700 staff members and 2000 students in education and research on the cutting edge of chemical technology, applied physics and biomedical technology. Our fields of application include sustainable energy, process technology and materials science, nanotechnology and technical medicine.
