The research fellow will carry out research in the area of nanocrystal synthesis by electrochemical methods and their application to energy conversion and energy storage applications. • A doctoral degree (level 10 NFQ) in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, or Materials Science.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience (including international experience) in colloidal nanocrystals also incorporating device use in energy conversion and energy storage.
• A minimum of 5 first Author publications in Q1 Journals in area of colloidal nanocrystals.
• Evidence of emerging international reputation in field of colloidal nanocrystals.
• Knowledge of the research field internationally.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Project management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.

Specific Requirements

• Evidence of contribution to grant writing activities as a Post Doctoral Researcher.
• Evidence of contribution to PhD supervision in the form of co-authorship with PhD researchers as the first author in Q1 journals.
