The UCL GOS ICH, together with its clinical partner Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, forms the largest concentration of children’s health research outside North America. The 2024-29 GOS ICH strategy focuses on its five scientific programmes. GOS ICH generates the funding for our research by setting out our proposals in high quality applications to public, charitable and industrial funding bodies and disseminates the results of our research by publication in the medical and scientific literature, to clinicians, policy makers and the wider public. GOS ICH holds an Athena SWAN Charter Gold Award.About the roleThe vision of the Neotree Project is to use best practice and information technology to improve the quality of care for newborns and to increase rates of newborn survival and thrival in under-resourced health care settings.You will join a team that comprises of dynamic, passionate, creative, inclusive, and highly skilled cross-disciplinary individuals, spread across Malawi, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Rwanda, and the UK.You will work closely with the Research Program Manager to provide project management for UCL led Neotree research covering aspects of research governance, financial and contractual arrangements for grants, communication and stakeholder management, assisting with dissemination report writing and new grant preparation.The salary offered is £43,374 – £50,538 per annum and the role is funded for 2 years in the first instance.About youThis post is suitable for an experienced research project manager who is proactive, flexible, has the ability to work independently and across multiple disciplines with cultural sensitivity.
