We are seeking a Research Technician to work on a project ¿ *An epigenetic switch: how to make a parasite* ¿ led by Mark Viney (Liverpool) and Peter Sarkies (Oxford), funded by a Wellcome Trust Discovery Award that will run until 2031, supporting research teams in both Liverpool and Oxford. The overall aim of this work is to study the role of epigenetic pathways, specifically chromatin and small non-coding RNAs, in regulating gene expression in the parasitic nematode *Strongyloides*. In this role you will produce parasite material for downstream analysis, contribute to *in vitro* and *in vivo* experiments with parasite infections, and work closely with the Oxford-based team. We seek someone who is organised, has an eye for detail, and who will enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues in Liverpool and Oxford.
