Presentation/teaser to the position:
Sperry Drilling deliver services within supervision of offshore drilling operations directional drilling and downhole monitoring/measurements.
Daily we are tasked with short deadlines to supply operational needs and work with pride and focus to be the best in Safety and Quality.
We are looking for a dedicated workshop lead who can handle unforeseen challenges calmly and find good solutions along the way.
As an workshop area Lead, you will have a varied and important role where you will be responsible for daily operations, while at the same time acting as an important link between employees, subcontractors and managers.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ year related workshop experience.
· Leadership experience preferred
· Experience with maintenance of Ex equipment
· Good language skills, both oral and in writing
· Experience with Halliburton internal system like Dozuki, SAP, CWI, Oneview, Appian etc.
· Knowledge of 5s and Lean principles

Personal qualifications:
Capable of analyzing failed equipment by designing test plans, finding, and communicating root causes and corrective actions.
Able to discuss, in a group setting, new or recently distributed documentation or process improvements such as FAD`s SQ, Tech Faxs, NOMEMs etc, GTS Alerts and will be first point of contact for local questions or discussions.
Ability and authority to accept and reject component parts based on the visual inspection standard.
Basic computer skills required.
