  • Reporting to the Revenue Margin Growth Manager (RMG), the RMG Analyst will evaluate commercial processes and performance, gather insights based on Sell-out data, recommend improvements on pricing, promotions, product/customer mix, in line with Global RMG standards.
  • The overall aim will be to drive actionable insights in order to optimize revenue and long-term profitability across the Commercial Function (both on and off trade).
  • Delivery against these objectives will ensure that this role plays an important part in enabling HEINEKEN and its Customers to maximise market value and for HEINEKEN
  • It would be ideally suited to an ambitious individual, looking to make their mark and with a cross-functional mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the update and governance of the Revenue Management Dashboard, refresh, report on pre-defined KPI’s and set up meetings with key stakeholders in order to discuss potential mitigation actions.
  • Promotions: Shape how we track promo performance (uplift, ROI) using promo analytics tool and set mandatory promo guardrails by brand and account. Report performance on monthly basis in Team Meetings.
  • Seek for opportunities to improve ROI and optimize overall promo spend Support and validate annual trade terms exercise and connect with financial control, Key Account Managers and Category Management. Evaluate conditionality of Discounts and Trade Terms.
  • Shape our pricing reviews to identify potential RM benefits (based on RM analytics, market intelligence, etc) and help set guardrails on customer pricing, promo, trade terms, and mix execution
  • Brand Portfolio Pricing & Pack-Price Architecture: Advise marketing on setting of target recommended selling prices, conduct white space analytics, translate optimal recommended selling prices (RRP) to SKU list price.
  • Mix: Analyse current mix performance, identify mix opportunities, support prioritisation of SKU mix based on profitability-potential analytics, help set SKU mix allocation and track execution
  • Support our continuous RM improvement cycle and develop colleagues within the within Commercial Functions on RMG topics/tools
  • Support continuous improvement of RMG content & processes

Key requirements

  • Degree level education; strong academic record, University degree in a business related area (preferred)
  • 3-5 years Fast Moving Consumer Goods or Retail experience in Marketing and / Trade Planning operating in an Analytical Environment (Marketing or Insight background)
  • Very strong analytical skills with ability to distil large amounts of data into actionable insights.
  • Understanding of consumer and shopper insights/ knowledge of marketing concepts
  • Ability to visually present analysis, key insights, facts & figures in a compelling way; tailor content to audience
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, focused on influencing results delivery
  • Cross functional influencing and collaboration
  • Ability to shape and implement new ways of working
  • Proven experience in managing change and implementing new processes into the business.
  • Advanced Excel/analytical skills
  • Power BI proficient
