In this key role, you will help drive the commercial growth journey – combining your technical insight with sharp business acumen.Your key responsibilitiesAs our new Sales Manager, you will play a central role in driving project sales and setting the commercial direction for VMS Group A/S. Travel activity should be expected in connection with customer visits and events.Your responsibilities will include

• Selling new products and technical solutions including propulsion systems, diesel-electric packages, energy optimization, engineering, project management, and system integration.
• Defining and managing budgets, forecasts, and sales strategies.
• Identifying and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the maritime industry – including shipowners, shipyards, and technology providers.
• Managing the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
• Working closely with our technical and engineering teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
• Representing VMS Group at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.

Professional competencies required for this role

• Proven experience in B2B sales – preferably in project sales or system integration
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A results-driven mindset and a passion for achieving sales goals
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Bonus qualifications

• Experience in the maritime industry or related sectors
• A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or similar
