Do you like being part of a successful team?Do you like to advise our customers on their chemical processes?Join our Downstream Chemicals team in the BENELUXOur Downstream Chemicals team, through its knowledge and expertise, improves chemical technologies and processes to ensure the safety and reliability of hydrocarbon processing in its customers’ refineries and industrial plants.We are key supplier to the refining and petrochemical industry worldwide, providing support and consultancy services for our client refinery engineers on site related to Baker Hughes product line in the Rotterdam and Antwerp area. As this job requires to travel to and from our clients a company car is available, also we offer the possibility to work from home.Collaborate with the bestAs a Sales & Service Engineer, you will identify sales opportunities by understanding customer needs and requirements.As Sales & Service Engineer (M/F), you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring sustainable relationships and financial returns and identify and exploit new opportunities with new and existing clients
• Maintaining relationships with our customers, and be the interface with relevant functions and services
• Managing the chemical supply chain, stockpile, sampling, testing, analysis and process reporting, as appropriate
• Coordinating laboratory work and provide technical assistance to support customer accounts
• for the HS&E of projects and ensure full compliance with all company standards
• Maintaining, developing, reporting and presenting improvement programs and manage tenders, technical requests, projects, and chemical tests

Fuel your passionTo succeed in this role, you must:

• Have an engineering degree in chemical engineering or at least an engineering degree in another specialty and have equivalent experience in a similar environment
• Experience in oil refineries and/or petrochemical production as well as in the laboratory environment and chemical
• Experience working with HS&E and QA standards and practices in a chemical environment
• Knowledge of the different chemical test methods, industrial processes and quality standards required in a chemical environment
• Full proficiency in Dutch and English
