Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The general purpose of Sales Development Business Analytics is to be a data-driven consultant to the Central Senior Management and Sales Teams by providing insights & recommendations to enable and drive fact-based decisions. The Business Analytics Functions support and steer the business to achieve sales targets as well as the strategy by creating a holistic reporting landscape and analyzing relevant KPIs. This team acts as a partner function to provide support, guidance and clarity to all sales teams, as well as General Management. Working Student will have the chance to contribute to key activities, such as business meetings with strategic partners, develop an understanding of how various factors are interconnected and influence overall success, and learn to draw meaningful business conclusions.

Key Responsibilities:

-Supporting Business Analysts team in daily work
-Ongoing updates of the database with received data (sell-out, inventory)
-Assistance in the maintenance and development of BI tools / dashboards
-Opportunity to share own market observations and learn how to generate data-based insights
-Updating presentations for internal and external purposes
-Providing support for ad-hoc requests and business essential tasks
-Opportunity for involvement in cross-functional projects

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

-Fluency in English
-Knowledge of MS PowerPoint & Excel
-Familiarity with Power Query, SQL, or DAX is advantageous
-Analytical skills
-Scrupulousness and good organization
-High interpersonal skills
-Strong problem-solving approach
-Understanding of the data processes and interdependencies between tasks
 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

-University student (3rd-4th year)
-Previous experience in analytics, sales, or marketing is a plus
-Interest in economy and business
-Open to long-term collaboration
