School Manager

The School Manager is part of the senior faculty management team and is responsible for aligning school activities with the overall strategic and operational requirements of the Faculty and University.

You will provide expert advice and support to the Head of School to enable them to fulfil their academic leadership responsibilities.

You will also be responsible for the provision of consistent and high quality professional administrative and management support for the School with direct responsibility for the management of professional services within the School.

You have substantial relevant experience of working at a senior level within a large, complex organisation.

You have excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and are a proven strategic thinker with a strong track record in building and maintaining co-operative relationships and working in partnership at all levels.

You are an adept problem solver, capable of providing strong leadership during a period of significant change with a record of establishing innovative and practical solutions to administration and management challenges within a diverse and complex environment.

Contract type: Open ended 

Work pattern: 35 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Grade: L

Salary: £57,696 – £64,914 per annum
