About usUCL established the Institute of Health Informatics (IHI) in August 2014 in the Faculty of Population Health Sciences. The aim of IHI is to conduct high quality data-intensive research to improve health at local, national, and international levels.The Faculty of Population Health Sciences has established itself as UCL’s largest research-based faculty, encompassing eight institutes. More information available at www.ucl.ac.uk/population-health-sciences/.About the roleInstitute of Health Informatics is looking to appoint a full time (36.5 hours per week) Scientific Project Manager to join our welcoming and vibrant Institute.This position presents a unique opportunity to join and support an experienced international team of researchers working on the END-VOC project. This work is focused on bringing together international cohorts to examine COVID-19 variants of concern, involves 20 international partners (Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa) working across multiple disciplines (health data and computational science, immunology, clinical epidemiology, genomics, sociology and virology).The Scientific Project Manager will work closely with UCL’s European Research and Innovation Office Project Manager to support the PI and researchers to deliver this study.
