This team works during normal business hours from the Proximus NXT HQ in Brussels (next to North station), as well as at customer locations (central data centers or satellite offices spread across Belgium).
A 24/7 on-call service is also provided for urgent incidents with major end-user impact.We are looking for a SCOM expert and all-round systems engineer to join our team.Main responsibilities:
– Manage and maintain end-user and data center systems.
– Identifying and solving technical problems and providing support in case of incidents, both on site and remotely
– Perform preventive maintenance tasks at satellite offices spread across Belgium on-site as well as remotely.
– Perform 2nd level support in rotation at customer HQ.
– Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to implement projects and improve systems.
– Contribute to the implementation of new technological solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
– Spotting and developing automation (by mean of scripting) opportunities to achieve efficiency improvements
– Documenting technical specifications, procedures and processes.
– Create and maintain reports to monitor patch status and compliance.
– Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure patches and updates are implemented in a timely and effective manner.Profile

– Given the regular customer contact, a positive customer focus and attitude is also an indispensable characteristic.
– You have a good understanding of contemporary network and security standards.
– You have a passion for IT and are willing to continuously train with the latest technology developments.
– Willing to participate in a duty rotation (1 in 8 weeks).
