Your role As our new scrum master, you’ll be on the cutting edge of our agile journey, working with highly experienced scrum teams to deliver change across our suite of products across the automotive sector. You’ll be responsible for helping teams deliver value, removing obstacles and ensuring teams apply agile and scrum principles in a meaningful way. You’ll collaborate, innovate, and stay on top of the latest trends.
You will guide the teams to optimise their use of scrum and become independent, empowering people to take risks, fail and learn from the process, fostering a no blame culture of collaboration and technical discussion to find the best solution possible. Crucially, you will help to achieve sprint goals and work with the product owner to meet milestones and ultimately business goals.What you’ll be doingAbout us:epyx specialise in eCommerce solutions for the automotive sector. You will encompass everything agile, and be a flagbearer for innovation, whilst also having an interest in the automotive sector.Key Responsibilities:

  • Steer scrum teams on incorporating agile techniques to ensure objectives are being met to the best of the teams’ ability, such as sprint goals.
  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies and wider discovery sessions, from daily stand ups to story mapping new initiatives.
  • Engage in wider business agile gatherings and contribute positively to the ongoing agile adoption across the business.
  • Coordinate work with development, compliance and infrastructure teams and encourage a collaborative mindset with influencers from outside the scrum team.
  • Collect and inspect team performance and metrics, using this data and your own experience to encourage improvement through various agile practices and philosophies, such as scope negotiation, waste management and milestone management.
  • Be a member of the team, succeeding, or failing, together.

Skills and Experience:

  • 2 or more years’ experience as a scrum master (or similar role)
  • Deep understanding of what agile and scrum is, how it can be applied and the benefits it can bring to a business.
  • Experience of software delivery within an agile environment.
  • Confident communicator to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Degree educated or related experience/qualifications.
  • Recognised accreditation
