Embark on a rewarding career with DSV Neom Saudi Arabia as a Sea Freight Operations Specialist! In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of coordinating and executing sea cargo operations, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods via sea transportation.

Responsibilities:

As a Sea Freight Operations Specialist, your key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and manage sea freight shipments from origin to destination, meeting timelines and customer requirements.
  • Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and ground handling agents to arrange bookings and schedule shipments effectively.
  • Prepare and process necessary documentation, including seaway bills, invoices, customs documentation, and other required paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with international sea freight regulations, customs laws, and security protocols.
  • Monitor and track shipment status, providing timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve any issues or delays in the transportation process, proactively finding solutions.
  • Update the tracking sheet with freight status and send daily updates to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sea freight operations and shipments.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market changes, and technological advancements in sea cargo logistics.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration/Economics/Logistics or freight forwarding.

Minimum of 5 years of work experience within the Freight Forwarding industry.

International working experience preferred.

Proficiency in using freight management systems, tracking software, and MS Office applications (cargowise1).

Knowledge of international sea cargo regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance standards.
