Ecology Solutions is a leading consultancy specialising in ecology planning solutions, offering
an extensive range of expertise to numerous and diverse high-profile clients within both the
public and private sectors. We also have regular interaction with our partner companies
specialising in landscape consultancy and ecological mitigation implementation / habitat
creation.

About the role:

We currently recruiting Seasonal Field Surveyors to participate in protected
species surveys and translocation work in various locations across the UK. This role will offer
hands-on experience working in the British countryside, as well as a chance to develop and
practice a range of techniques used in ecological surveys.

Full training will be provided, but previous experience, CSCS cards, and knowledge of local
fauna will be advantageous. Use of own car is essential, as is a willingness to travel long
distances and work evenings. There may be a requirement for occasional weekend work, however,
we are willing to consider applicants who are unable to work weekends.

Due to the varied locations of our projects, we are open to applicants from all regions of the
England and Wales. Occasional travel to either the Worcestershire or Hertfordshire office will
be necessary for training and collecting equipment.

The ideal candidate will be able to join the team full-time, but we are open to part-time
applicants who can commit to three days a week. Due to the seasonality of the role, work will
be available until September / October depending on weather conditions and the suitability to
survey. Please clearly state in your application when you are available to start and where you

You will receive £13 per working hour, plus expenses, to include a subsistence allowance and
mileage costs.
