Pay: Competitive salary (via education agency)We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Salisbury, working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEND). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of children, with the potential for the role to extend into the next academic year.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of SEND pupils.
• Develop and implement individual learning plans to support students’ progress.
• Provide support to pupils in both academic and personal development.
• Collaborate closely with other staff members, including Teaching Assistants and SENCO, to ensure effective provision.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to help each child thrive.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Maintain a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere that supports student well-being.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with children with SEND, particularly within a primary school setting (desirable but not essential).
• Strong knowledge of SEND strategies and the ability to adapt lessons to suit various learning needs.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to form positive relationships with children and colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• A DBS check or the willingness to undertake one (if required).
