As an SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) , you will work closely with students, providing them with the tailored assistance they need to engage fully in their education. You will play an integral role in creating a positive and encouraging learning environment that supports both academic and personal growth.Key Responsibilities:

• Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, delivering personalised support to meet individual needs.
• Assist in adapting classroom materials and activities to ensure accessibility for all students.
• Provide emotional and behavioural support to help students develop resilience and confidence.
• Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) effectively.
• Monitor and document student progress, sharing observations with the teaching team and parents where appropriate.
• Support students during non-classroom activities, including breaks, lunchtimes, and extracurricular events.

What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for someone who is committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment for students with SEN. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is desirable but not essential.
• An understanding of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
• Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate, are an advantage but not mandatory.
