Do you have previous experience working in Primary schools?Academic Appointments are working with a primary school in Sheffield S5 who are currently searching for full-time teaching assistant to work as part of a dedicated and resourceful KS1 team. The position will be supporting in an EYFS class. Knowledge of EYFS curriculum will be required.Responsibilities include:

• Providing dedicated support pupils with SEN and the other pupils in class
• Supporting the pupils academic progress and development
• Enabling pupils with SEN to become independent learners
• Assisting with pupils behaviour management and social-emotional development

Do you Have:

• Experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant with children with additional needs, ideally within SEN/Mainstream settings
• Early Years Practitioner Level 2 and above Or Level 3 Teaching assistant Qualification
• Other higher or equivalent or relevant qualifications to mentioned above
• Good organisational and excellent communication skills
