Job Purpose
AXA EssentiALL is the Group’s global inclusive insurance business unit, currently protecting circa 14 million low-to-middle income customers across Asia, Africa and Latin America, and more recently France and European Markets.
This role is has 2 key pillars.
As an executive assistant / chief of staff, the person will be tasked with supporting the AXA EssentiALL CEO in her executive responsibilities as well as in her board administrator roles. This includes summarizing main issues of board papers, managing governance and preparing meetings, structuring & preparing internal and external presentations & briefs, managing specific ad-hoc projects, etc.
As a senior advocacy & outreach manager, the person will drive AXA’s positioning, internally and externally, as an inclusive insurance leader through thought leadership, advocacy and outreach. It will also focus on animating the AXA EC community worldwide to facilitate knowledge sharing and replication. It will ensure that the team’s work is top of mind for our target stakeholders both external (private sector partners, financial inclusion/ESG/social impact actors, donors, multilaterals, governments) and internal (top leadership, transversal teams/professional families, entity leadership, transversal teams, local entities etc).

Context & Major Challenges
In 2016, AXA launched AXA Emerging Customers, a business dedicated to scaling up inclusive insurance solutions for the emerging middle class across Asia, Africa and Latin America. The specific protection needs of this new client segment has led us to reinvent insurance by simplifying products (focused on health, protection and property), building technology partnerships, and tying up with innovative distribution channel partnerships to better serve our clients. At end-2023, this initiative protected over 14m million clients, contributing to financial inclusion and sustainable development through a business approach. Our impact studies back-up our vision, we are developing valuable solutions that are making communities more resilient to financial shocks derived from the unexpected.
As companies are increasingly challenged by regulators, investors and other stakeholders to demonstrate positive social and environmental outcomes, Inclusive Insurance is developing an increasing significant voice in AXA’s Strategy and overall strategic narrative, and is now a formal part of the Unlock the Future 24-26 strategy. This is a unique opportunity to build an advocacy & communications engine that supports this longer-term ambition.
The challenge at hand is to produce impactful and differentiating content through a variety of channels by working with AXA’s community of inclusive insurance experts to reinforce the company’s voice across multiple platforms and thus our positioning as a leader in Inclusive Insurance. This has been done on an ad-hoc basis up until now, and the person occupying this position will be in charge of making this more structured, systematic and strategic.
The second pillar of this job will be about supporting the AXA EssentiALL CEO on a daily basis to make time, information, and decision-making more effective, prioritize projects, significantly contributing to reaching the team’s objectives.
