We have an exciting opportunity to join the IT Services Department as a Senior Analyst Programmer working hybrid, typically 20/80 office/remote.

About the Role
As a Senior Analyst Programmer in this role, you will work on the support and development of the University’s Drupal web publishing platform, Oxford Mosaic, as well as React/Node.js applications hosted on AWS. You will report to the CMS and Web Platform Manager as one of a friendly, agile team of full-stack developers and functional analysts, who build and support products used across the University in research engagement, teaching, museums and administrative functions. You will take a lead in the technical design, coding, testing and documentation of code changes required to deliver improvements and resolve product and platform issues. You will also drive forward platform strategic development by contributing to technical architecture and planning activities, amongst other duties.
About You
As the Senior Analyst Programmer successful in this role, you are a creative problem-solver who has gained support expertise and is able to collaborate effectively with a wide variety of people. A highly skilled developer with a strong track record in the full lifecycle of development, you have a sound knowledge of technologies used in the development of CMS-based websites, specifically Drupal, PHP/MySQL, and application development with React/Node.js on AWS. Articulate with excellent interpersonal skills, you are capable of working both independently and within project and development teams, taking a flexible and adaptable approach to your work. You understand the importance of the working practices, procedures and standards that underpin high quality software development and recognise the importance of testing and quality control.
