This opportunity is ideal for a result-oriented professional with a solid background in the financial industry seeking career advancement in quantitative finance.Your new roleThe Senior Quant Analyst will unite their quantitative expertise and innovative thinking in a role that is both challenging and rewarding. As a critical part of the Model Risk Management Team, your diligence, strategic perspective, and methodical approach will ensure the transparent performance of a variety of models across the department.
You will:

• Conduct independent model validations working within the Independent Model Review team.

• Perform quantitative and qualitative research with a focus on model data, design, and performance.

• Evaluate and interpret model assumptions, identifying potential limitations.

• Collaborate in the development and implementation of model risk management frameworks.

What you39ll need to succeed

• An academic degree [MSc or PhD] in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, or a field with a strong quantitative bias

• Attuned programming skills in R, Python, SAS, Matlab, C++, or SQL

• Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills in English

• Experience in independent model validation, model building and/or quantitative research for senior roles is a distinct advantage.

• Professional qualifications such as PRM, FRM, or CFA would be advantageous
