We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Business Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.Your tasks:Analysis of business, functional and technology-related needs, requirements and specifications;Analysis of stakeholders, organisational structures, business processes, data flows and business models;Production of documents relating to information systems (user guides etc.);Provision of quality plans, underpinning contracts, service level agreements, quality control and evaluation plans;Testing and acceptance of deliverables, provided by Suppliers (third-party contractors or otherwise);Define quality, test and acceptance procedures and criteria;Undertaking the implementation/execution of a project management methodology;Follow-up of information systems-related activities;Participation in business, functional and technical working groups, progress meetings, and meetings with the business/users.Your skills:Master degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with at least 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;At least 10 years of experience in business, functional and technical analysis as well as quality procedures;At least 10 years of experience in conducting studies in the design and building of IT systems (e.g. quality, security, requirement analysis, technical or functional domain);At least 10 years of experience in IT PM methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, PMM4EP/ENGAGE, etc.), with IT governance and management frameworks (e.g. COBIT, etc.) and with analysis tools (mind mapping, root cause analysis, etc.);At least 10 years of experience in application of analytical methodologies and techniques;Expertise in information systems architecture, software design, testing, training, acquired through information systems implementation and maintenance;In-depth knowledge of methodologies, processes, tools and frameworks for software development (e.g. Agile/Scrum, iterative Waterfall, etc.), design and modelling (e.g. prototyping, design patterns, use cases, BPM/BPMN, UML, etc.) as well as Atlassian;Excellent command of the English language.Our offer:If you are seeking a career in an exciting and dynamic company, where you will offer your services as part of a team of a major European Institution, operating in an international, multilingual and multicultural environment where you can expect real chances to make a difference, please send us your detailed CV in English, quoting reference (102956/12/24).Job Opening in Brussels (PID 102956)We are looking for candidates with strictly 10-20 years of experience, not more, with candidates spending long time on projects (no job hopping).Experience working in the European Commission / EU institutions and the public sector is mandatory.Due to special security clearance, we may only proceed with EU candidates.Details:-Position: Senior Business Analyst-Deadline: 27/01/2025
