Based in the Netherlands, your will be part of the Commercial Excellence Department consisting of more than 20 peopleYour responsibilities:You will mainly be in charge of leading the Key Clients initiative within the firm, which means that:You will be the owner of the annual calendar and responsible to achieve milestones together with the Partners and the other members of the Key clients teams;You will gather information, analyse it and feed this back to the client teams to discuss and recommend what to do with the Key Clients;You will translate all the information into learnings and makes adjustments to continuously improve our approach of the Key Clients with the aim to strengthen and deepen the relationship with them.More concretely:You will prepare Key Clients packs gathering:the relevant internal and external information: connections, matters, history with the clients, the ecosystem, etc.,the objectives with the client,the actions plan;You will check that actions are done and remind members the Key Cleints teams members about the actions to be done;You will monitor news regarding the Key Clients (annual reports, SalesNavigator, news websites, etc.) and keep the Key Clients team informed about relevant news and recommend them what actions can be launched;You will monitor the marketing initiatives (publications, events) which can be relevant for the Key Clients and inform the Key Clients teams;Together with of business development professionals, you will keep track of market trends and developments relevant for the Key Clients and leverage insights we acquire from working across multiple clients to share with the Key Clients;You will ensure that internal processes are run properly (set up alerts regarding new matters with Finance & Control, Check with the Business and Market Intelligence Team that the grouping of entities in our system is up to date, check with assistants that the contacts details in the CRM are up to date, feed relevant matters into track records, keep track of engagement letters and fee arrangement…);You will prepare and coach the client teams prior to client meetings and attend these meetings;You will perform analysis on pitches and fee quotes (pitches win/lost, fee quotes vs. final fees) and make recommendation to the client teams;You will work in collaboration with Data Team / Finance & Control to create/improve client dashboard with, including all information such as turnover, matters, margins, meetings, connections in CRM, secondments, events (invited, accepted, attended), marketing lists, newsletters (sent, opened, shared, click through) etc.) and share relevant information within the firm.You will also be involved on other business development projects and tasks such as preparaing analyses, drafting pitches and presentations, prepare submissions to legal directories… depending on the needs of the team.Responsibilities, tasks and title will be adapted depending on the candidate’s experienceThis vacancy suits you, because youYou have an academic background in economics/business studies or in law. A master’s degree in those fields is a clear advantage;You have significant relevant experience in a law firm/the legal sector or in the consulting industry; this can be as an attorney, tax advisor, consultant or business development/marketing advisor.You have significant relevant experience in business development activities. Experience in key account management is a clear advantage;You are fluent in written and spoken English;You have a very good command of Word, Excel and PowerPoint;You have experience with CRM systems (such as Dynamics, InterAction, SalesForce,…)You have a strong ability to analyse and summarise information;You are self-motivating and willing to take initiatives;You can communicate effectively and act as a team player;You collaborate easily with other teams;You are organised, flexible and able to manage several matters concurrently.Who are we?Loyens & Loeff is an international top tier full-service law and tax firm, providing integrated legal and tax services in four Home Markets: the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium and Switzerland.
