Senior Business Development Coordinator (Paths for Everyone)

£31,454 per annum (pro rata for part time hours)

Base: Hybrid – or one of our Sustrans offices in Birmingham, Nottingham, or
Peterborough.  

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sustrans team as part of the Midlands and East
Partnerships team as a Senior Business Development Coordinator (SBDC).

As the SBDC you will lead on the coordination of Sustrans business development work, with a
focus on our Paths for Everyone programme, and bid writing. This role will provide essential
internal support to the Sustrans Network Development, to help identify and assess funding
opportunities, write funding proposals, case studies and reports.

You will work collaboratively with the job share partner, as well as leading on our regional
work with Trusts and Foundations 

This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on
behalf of Sustrans.

About you

You should have experience in managing business development processes and experience of
securing funding through competitive processes such as tendering, as well as experience of
project management.

With the ability to build relationships with ease across a wide range of people, lad the
ability to communicate with authority and persuasion, and have excellent communication skills.
