Would you thrive in an environment where you can utilise your skills to provide data analysis and insights to tight deadlines? Could you be the next successful member of our small team, working in a fast-changing environment?
It is an exciting time to join our dynamic and forward-looking institution; we are a fast-growing university where staff and students work collaboratively and create world-changing knowledge and research. This position is an integral part of our Planning and Business Intelligence Team; the main focus of the post is the university’s apprenticeship contracts, and statutory returns to compile meaningful reporting and insight, utilising complex datasets, models and relational databases. This reporting and insight informs strategic and operational decision-making across the University. As well as supporting the wider team in data analysis, our successful candidate will have their own portfolio of work. The role is not just about ‘number crunching’; communication is also key, and as well as building great working relationships within our team, our successful candidate will build an effective network across our University community.
We are looking for someone who works with high levels of accuracy and strongly analytical methods, who will deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service in a professional and proactive way; an individual who can take the initiative and work independently but can also make a positive contribution in our team environment.
The University of Lincoln offers exciting career opportunities with the chance to grow and develop to reach your full potential. We also offer a wide range of staff benefits, including a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days per year pro rata (plus an additional 14 bank holiday and concessionary days), progressive pay rates, access to discounts at popular stores and more.
If you have any questions regarding the role, please contact Susan Beck, Planning Manager (External Environment, Policy, and Regulation), at [email protected] .
