Location WexfordOur client is a leading Civil Engineering & Utilities Contractor working on Framework contracts Nationally. They are recruiting a Senior Engineer (Civils) to play a pivotal role in coordinating construction activities on-site for a Trenching & Ducting Project in Wexford over the next 24 months. With a focus on efficiency, safety, and adherence to established standards and schedules, this role will be a key part of the management team on site.Required for this role

• Proven experience as a Senior Civil Engineer in civil engineering or construction projects, with utilities experience and working within the road corridor preferred.
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft outlook, word excel and project.
• Full drivers licence.
• Background in civil engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Engineer is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and technical delivery of key works packages, acting as the primary main contactor liaison with all relevant third parties for technical queries.
• Ensuring timely and accurate flow of information between the design team and subcontractors and overseeing the implementation of the Quality Management System.
• Overseeing technical delivery of Project.
• Overseeing Site Engineers responsible for establishing control points, setting grids, establishing formation levels and production of as-built surveys.
• Stewardship of the Technical Quality Control process to ensure compliance with all the Construction Regulations, including managing the Submittals and Benchmarking process.
• Managing the Construction teams Project Inspection Plan.
• Providing technical support to the Health and Safety Manager in developing and executing the Project Health & Safety Plan, Construction Management Plan, Environmental Plan etc. Management of environmental management records.
• Any other task commensurate with this post.
