Senior Clinical Fellow with an interest in Knee Surgery

This is an established post, bringing the complement of Senior (Post FRCS) Fellows within the Department of Orthopaedics to 11, of which 5 are dedicated Trauma Fellows. There are also 12 Registrars, and 7 are part of the South East Thames Orthopaedic Training Programme. The On-call at King’s consists of a separate rota for the Senior Fellows and the Registrars, the Fellows doing day-time on calls during weekdays and weekends and the Registrars providing the night on call service.This post is to work with Mr Rajat Varma, Mr Anil Kumar, Mr Alvin Chen and Mr Barry Andrews.Main duties of the jobTo observe the rules, policies, procedures and standards of King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust together with all relevant statutory and professional obligations.To observe and maintain strict confidentiality of personal information relating to patients and staff.To be responsible, with management support, for their own personal development and to actively contribute to the development of colleagues.This job description is intended to be a guide to the general scope of duties and is not intended to be definitive or restrictive.
