In addition, the Senior Clinical Lecturer will be expected to fulfil the role of Academic Lead for CPSA, for a 5-year duration, with potential to extend.The postholder will be a senior clinician, GMC registered with a licence to practice, and in practice as a GP or consultant. They will have experience of educational leadership and a track record of high quality undergraduate medical education, preferably in a university-affiliated role. Ideally, they will have experience of student selection, assessment and student support.The postholder will have a significant external facing role, working in collaboration with the Directors of Undergraduate Education (DUEs), Specialty Leads and Module Leads at the partner NHS Trusts affiliated with BMS. The postholder will contribute to other areas of medical education, such as TBL, the House Tutor system, Multiple Mini Interviewing and OSCE.
