The Cellular Pathology Department, University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for the post of Senior Clinical Trials Assistant to join their friendly forward thinking team within a busy and continually developing department. 

We are looking for someone that can be involved in assisting Clinicans, Pathologists and the Project Management Team with the delivery of the Clinical Samples for Patient Benefit Project. This Project is designed to supply consented fresh, frozen and fixed tissue for clinical research partners from academic and commercial clients. 

UHS is one of the largest hospitals in the country. It is a national centre for both teaching and research and a regional centre for Neurological, Cardiac, Paediatric and Cancer specialities. 

The department is integrated with the University of Southampton which has a major role in student education and has active research programs in both applied and basic experimental pathology.
