Our Client, a Leading Law Firm in Dublin City Centre . They are currently hiring a Senior Legal Secretary to join their Conveyancing Team. Offering an excellent salary together with flexible start and finish times, a 5.00pm finish on Fridays and remote working 1 day per week. • Checking emails / instructions from fee earners.
• Scanning incoming post and capturing same to relevant case management files / title deeds bundles.
• Checking list of dictations in speech live / real estate folder and selecting priority tasks first.
• Typing draft letters for fee earners’ review and gathering enclosures.
• Typing/amending draft documentation in Partner for Windows Case Management System.
• Objections and Requisitions on Title.
• Pre-Contractual Inquiries.
• Contracts for Sale.
• Deeds of Transfer, Declarations.
• Pre-Lease Inquiries, draft Leases, Side Letters and Deeds of Renunciation.
• Screening calls for fee earners and typing notes to file if calls are lengthy or detailed.
• Scheduling title deeds and arranging safe off site storage of same.
• Scanning bundles of documents e.g., copy title/closing documents.
• Logging Letters of Undertaking received or given onto the system.
• Arranging for documents to be sworn by a Commissioner for Oaths/Practising Solicitor.
• Verifying bank account details of other parties.
• Preparing invoices (ability to analyse financial ledger to capture all unbilled disbursements and third party fee notes (e.g., Management Company fees for MUDs Replies / PRA registration fees etc.).

The Candidate:

• Conveyancing/property experience is essential.
• Ability to prioritise workload with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience using a case management system.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently to deadlines.
• Excellent drafting skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and case management.
