Company: MarshDescription:We are seeking a talented individual to join our Legal team at MMC. This role will be based in Belgium. • Understand applicable law and regulation and monitor regulatory developments. Anticipate emerging risks. Implement effective controls.

• Provide generalist advice in all applicable fields of the law (e.g., Corporate Law, Employment Law, IP, Litigation, M&A, Competition, Data Protection, Trade Sanctions).

• Negotiate and draft various types of legal documents including contracts.

• Manage Errors & Omissions, legal and regulatory risks effectively while limiting external spend.

• Promote a culture of integrity.

• Manage and coordinate Compliance initiatives and projects with timely deployment and monitoring.

• Regularly meet with senior management to identify risks, challenges and opportunities and deliver pragmatic advice and support.

• Respond to legal queries from Business colleagues as well as questions on application of Compliance policies and procedures.

• Interact with outside legal counsel for the Company and review outside counsel work and product.
