As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead the design of cutting-edge electrical systems, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with a diverse team of experts. This role offers excellent prospects for career development and the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across various sectors.As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Arup, you will:

• Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for complex projects across various sectors, including mission-critical, healthcare, commercial, industrial, and educational.
• Develop innovative and sustainable electrical solutions, incorporating the latest technologies and industry best practices.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical design within the overall project.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring successful project delivery.

Does this role inspire you?We’re looking for someone passionate about sustainable building design and innovative electrical engineering. We also value:

• Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of post-qualification design experience in a consultancy environment
• Experience leading design teams and mentoring junior engineers
• In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, including Dutch codes (preferred)
• Proficiency in industry-standard electrical design software (e.g., Revit, Dialux, Amtech)
• Experience in science, industry and technology (SIT) projects
