Drive engineering excellence, ensuring compliance with statutory and EDF Renewables policies.Your Impact:

• Deliver expert electrical engineering solutions, embedding quality and operational excellence.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing, collaborative team.
• Set and uphold engineering standards, ensuring compliance and innovation.
• Provide technical leadership, supporting critical business needs and high-voltage projects.
• Investigate and integrate emerging technologies to optimize HV asset management.
• Represent EDF Renewables in industry events and technical discussions.

What do you need to be great at this role?You’ll be a proven leader successful in delivering projects / programmes, establishing / managing relationships, securing and maintaining a safe environment, managing priorities, and inspiring and influencing behaviours and actions.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of an engineering degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Chartered membership of an appropriate body is desirable.
• NEBOSH or IOSH (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Accreditation under WTSR and HVSR is desirable.
• Specialist in at least one engineering discipline within the renewable energy sector.
• Strong experience of managing risks and challenges in a renewables environment.
• Experience of coaching / mentoring less experienced team members.
• Strong commitment to safety, health, environment and quality.
• Highly proficient in key areas of engineering in the renewables environment.
• Excellent at building successful relationships with external partners, peers, stakeholders and reporting line.
• Computer literate with a good command of Microsoft Office package (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, etc.).
• Flexible to travel around the UK and overseas as the role requires.
• Excellent (English), oral and written, communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
