Your expertise will be instrumental in adapting the next generation of industry-leading solutions, transforming how jewelry is bought and sold online.What You’ll Do:Impact & Delivery : Drive the expansion of Nivoda’s category offerings on our platform and mobile app. Build a high performing Team that aligns Company’s business objectives.People Management and : Mentor Managers / Tech leads and retain talent, foster growth plans at each level of the team and define, measure and own key metrics for team performance and GoalsTech influence: Build solutions and own the Technical Direction and decisions alongside the Tech LeadsStrategy and Leadership: Spearhead translating Business requirements to Tech solutions, strategise long term Engineering Initiatives and own Staffing requirements.Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration: Build strong stakeholder relationships, influence senior leaders, and collaborate effectively across departments to drive initiatives.Organisational Wide Impact: Contribute to the wider Nivoda engineering culture, including developing best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines to be adhered to throughout the development lifecycleDrive with Business Acumen: Leverage expertise to improve Customer Touch points and ability to make decisions aligned with the company’s vision and contributing to strategic growth.Innovation : Stay abreast of emerging technologies to inform decision-making and ensure the engineering teams remain competitiveYour qualifications and experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of management, and proven experience as a manager of managers and technical leads, with a strong track record of leading successful projects from inception to delivery.Proficiency in System Architecture and Design with knowledge of data stores.Good understanding of cloud Technologies (AWS) and streaming data tools such as Kafka, microservices architecture, and distributed systemsExperience in leading cross-functional projects and proficiency in project management process and techniques such as Staff planning, executing, and monitoring projects.Experience in leading and mentoring teams and driving them toward big goals with consistent executionExcellent communication skills and the ability to succinctly explain deep technical concepts, effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersExperience leading Agile/Scrum ceremoniesExcellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.Experience with building Ecommerce Marketplace Solutions or Products would be a bonus.What We Offer:Opportunity to shape the future of a rapidly scaling marketplaceBe Leader of a team in augmenting new offerings of our MarketplaceFlexible, remote working arrangementsCompetitive base salary and bonus structureGenerous holiday allowanceThe chance to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, dynamic industry
