Senior Expert Operational Excellence And Organizational Efficiency – M/F

Job description:

As part of the Central Technical Department, you will play a key role in improving the mining operations and plants of the Eramet Group. Your main mission will be to support the transformation of sites towards world-class performance, notably through on-site coaching and training workshops.

The position is based in Paris and includes frequent travel (more than 50% of the time) to mining and metallurgical sites in Gabon, Senegal, Indonesia, France, Norway, the United States, and New Caledonia.

Responsibilities :

• Actively participate in projects to improve organizational efficiency and implement the Eramet Production System (EPS).
• Utilize methods such as Lean 6 Sigma to develop actions and create tailored roadmaps to address operational discrepancies.
• Monitor projects analytically, prescriptively, and collaboratively with the industrial management of the sites.
• Contribute to KPI benchmarking and the sharing of best operational practices within the Group.
• Influence organizational structures to optimize interfaces and ensure the viability of world-class performance routines.
• Guide change management and positively impact management through coaching.

Your Profile:

Education: Engineering degree or equivalent.

Languages: Fluent in French and English (oral and written), Spanish recommended.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of operational experience at world-class mining and metallurgical sites.
• Significant experience in leading operational improvement projects.
• Knowledge of RCA, Lean, Six Sigma, TQM methodologies, etc.
• Professional experience in mines/plants recognized for their operational excellence.
• Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, change management, and project management skills.
• Proven expertise in Excel and digital tools dedicated to operations.
