About the Team Financial Markets (FM) has expertise combined with deep local market knowledge to deliver a variety of risk management, financing and investment solutions to our clients. The FM team offers capabilities across origination, structuring, sales, trading and research. Offering a full suite of fixed income, currencies, commodities, equities and capital markets solutions, FM has firmly established itself as a trusted partner with extensive on-the-ground knowledge and deep relationships.Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with fellow developers, financial market infrastructure experts, testers, architects and operations teams to deliver working solutions.
  • Take ownership of the analysis, design, build and delivery of software components (Front end focus with some back end integrations in Java)
  • Take responsibility for identification, estimation and reporting on of progress of tasks.
  • Assimilate, challenge, help refine and then apply architectural principles around scalability, security and fault tolerance.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the mechanics of required Financial Markets applications and applying this knowledge.

SKILLSMust have

  • – Experience & strong academic background o at least 8Y + experience in front end development o at least 5Y+ experience in designing, developing mission critical UX and UI with focus on Financial Markets applications – Technical skills o Strong knowledge of HTML 5 UI development, constructing applications dynamically, programmatically on the fly o Fluent in TypeScript, experienced in Material UI o Interaction with Backend services and data processing o Experience with (Solace, react, java, grpc) or equivalent o Knowledge and practical experience in modern dev ops – CI/CD Build and Static Analysis tools o Desirable: understanding of swing /programmatic GUI construction, web sockets, web workers

Nice to haveo Proven experience with modern applications design – Micro services/ API-first development / high throughput/ event -driven/ agent- based system, compositional frameworks
