Working as part of a team you will be responsible for developing QAD’s Process Intelligence web application working on both
the front-end and the backend. As a part of the Engineering team, based in the US and Europe, this role will bring you great opportunities to work on various projects, technologies, with a diverse range of teams.The Engineering team is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of the organization’s core products, with a focus on efficiency and speed. We architect and implement comprehensive solutions, including tools and platforms, to address key business requirements. These solutions encompass critical areas such as provisioning, configuration, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), monitoring, service level agreements (SLAs), performance optimization, and system uptime. The team is committed to meticulous execution and collaborates extensively with a broad range of stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.This position will be a hybrid role (1-2 days in office) based out of Barcelona, Spain. With full work authorization already in effect. No Visa sponsorship available.What you will do:

• Participate in software architecture and technology choices.
• Write clean, optimized and documented code.
• Ensure integration and communication between different systems.
• Perform tests and ensure good code quality.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers and other developers.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Optimize application performance.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Education: Degree in Information Technology, Engineering Computer Science or related fieldsProfessional experience: 5+ yearsTechnical skills:

• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js).
• Proficiency of Python language and his common ecosystem (Panda, …).
• Experience with Python back-end frameworks (Tornado, Flask).
• Knowledge of relational databases (MongoDB, Vertica, etc.).
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS).
• Skills in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of web security principles.
• Ability to work in Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban).

Soft skills:Good collaboration skills at all levels with cross-functional teamsHighly developed ownerships and creative thinking * Analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex problems

Preferred Qualifications:
