Your tasks

• responsibility for month end activities and month end journal entries for assigned entities
• reconciling balance sheet and P&L.
• responsibility for quarterly and annual accounting and tax packages
• ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP accounting, Sarbanes Oxley, and company policies
• ensuring effective internal controls for the assigned accounting areas.
• responsibility for local statutory accounting and coordination with outsourcing partners
• responsibility for internal and external audits
• participating in the implementation and upkeep of ERP system
• working with external accounting partners
• participating and supporting finance related projects and performing ad hoc tasks, as required.
• upholding company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
• supporting and complying with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures

What we expect

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of work experience in an accounting or financial reporting role.
• 5+ years of experience in a multinational company and/or shared service center.
• 5+ of years of experience working with an ERP system.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills.
• Fluent to read, write, and speak in English.
• Nice to have – very good command of German
