Senior Institute Administrator

You will join as a key member of the administrative team within the Institute of Dentistry, one of five institutes to make up the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences & Nutrition. You will be located in the Aberdeen Dental Hospital & Institute of Dentistry building on the Foresterhill site.  Working within an NHS Grampian run premises, the Institute of Dentistry works closely alongside its NHS Grampian colleagues.  BDS Dentistry students see their own patients within the Dental Hospital, supervised by clinical staff, as well as on outreach placements.

You will manage the Institute of Dentistry administrative team which is responsible for providing high level and varied administrative support to our Dental programmes. The Institute Administrative Manager leads the small team that provides essential support to staff, our students and our NHS colleagues ensuring that varied administrative tasks across teaching, assessment, quality assurance, systems administration and senior staff support is organised and efficiently managed. You will liaise with both University and NHS clinical staff as well as with dental and other healthcare students.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 6, 37,099- £44,263 per annum, and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.
